NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 20 April 2015, the Council of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets made the above-mentioned Order under section 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by schedule 5 of the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004. 2. The general effect of the Experimental Order under local authority enforcement thereby introducing charges and conditions to the use of the car parks located on, (a) Haverfield Road Car Park - in Haverfield Road junction with Grove Road. (b) Lawton Road Car Park – in Lawton Road junction with Mile End Road. (c) Provided that between 8.00am and 10:00pm Mondays to Sundays and that vehicles will be required to Pay by Phone (cash less) parking, the charges at each of the car parks would be as follows:- Monday to Sunday 1 hour £2.00 £2.00 (d) The Parking places will be open between 8:00am and 10:00pm Mondays to Sundays for use only by motor cycles, motor cars, invalid carriages and good vehicles. If the provisions of the Orders continue in operation for a period of not less than six months, the Council will consider in due course whether they should be reproduced and continued in force indefinitely by means of Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of the said Act of 1984, as amended by the said Act of 1985 and the said Act of 2004.
