The restriction on vehicular traffic will enable essential detailed railway bridge inspection to be carried out on the public highway by Centurion Traffic Management. The alternative routes for vehicular will be via Fairfield Road, Bow Road, A12 Blackwall Tunnel Northern Approach (in the north-western direction) and Wick Lane or Fairfield Road, Tredegar Road, St. Stephens Road, Old Ford Road, Grove Road, Mile End Road and Fairfield Road.
