NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets on 9th February 2015 made the above-mentioned Orders under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 5 of the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004. 2. The general effect of the Orders would be to in: a) Wapping Lane: i) Outside no.64 - To introduce on Single Yellow Line a General Loading Bay to operate Mon to Fri between 8.30am to 5.30pm with 20 minutes maximum stay and no return within 1 hour. ii) Outside no.93 – To upgrade approx. 15m of Single Yellow Line to Double Yellow Line. iii) Outside Welsh House – To introduce on existing Single Yellow Line, Pay & Display (Cashless) Bay consisting of 4 Parking Spaces. iv) Outside Welsh House -To introduce No Loading ‘At Any Time’ Restrictions for approx. 15m north of the junction of Prusom Street. v) Including Green Bank – To upgrade the northwest side corner from Single Yellow Line to Double Yellow Line (approx. 4m on both sides). vi) Outside no.97-103 – To extend and convert the existing Business Bay into Business and Pay & Display (Cashless) by another 2 Parking Spaces. vii) To introduce No Loading ‘At Any Time’ Restrictions for approx. 7m north of the junction with Brewhouse Lane. b) Green Bank: i) Near Chimney Court – To convert the existing Business Bays to Business and Pay & Display Bays. 3. The Regulations, fees and usual exemptions imposed by the governing Traffic Management Orders would apply to the proposals referred to in paragraph 2 above. 4. A copy of each of the proposed Orders and all relevant documents can be inspected, by prior appointment, at the offices of the at the Parking Services Offices, 585-593 Commercial Road, London E10HJ (0207-364 6952), during normal office hours on Monday to Friday inclusive until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published. 5. Dated: 9th February 2015 JAMIE BLAKE SERVICE HEAD, PUBLIC REALM Public notices PUBLIC NOTICE THE LONDON BOROUGH OF TOWER HAMLETS ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – BRICK LANE JUNCTION FOURNIER STREET E1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets proposes to make an Order, which will prohibit vehicular traffic from entering, stopping or proceeding in: •Brick Lane, approximately 30 metres north, and 30 metres south, from its junction with Fournier Street; •Fournier Street, approximately 30 metres, west, from its junction with Brick Lane. The restrictions on vehicular traffic will enable essential works to be carried out on the public highway by Road Traffic Solutions. The alternative routes for vehicular traffic will be via Brick Lane, Chicksand Street, Greatorex Street, Hanbury Street, Spelman Street and Princelet Street or Fournier Street, Commercial Street, Hanbury Street, Wilkes Street, Princelet Street and Brick Lane. Throughout the duration of the works, and at times when the “one way” and “no entry” traffic signs are covered, the existing one way working in: a) Fournier Street between its junction with Brick Lane and its junction with Wilkes Street will be temporarily suspended; b) Brick Lane between its junction with Heneage Street and its junction with Princelet Street will be temporarily suspended. The restriction on vehicular traffic will operate on the following three weekends: a) Sunday 22nd February 2015 from 11:00 hours to 18:00 hours; b) Sunday 1st March 2015 from 11:00 hours to 18:00 hours; c) Sunday 8th March 2015 from 11:00 hours to 18:00 hours. This is when temporary traffic signs are placed on the public highway pursuant to the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002.
