The annual festival, which runs over the weekend of September 20 and 21, includes top spots across the capital from Downing Street’s Number 10 to the ‘Cheese Grater’. Borough highlights include Trinity Buoy Wharf at Leamouth, home to London’s only lighthouse, which is open from 11am to 4pm on both days. A free tour at midday will focus on the lighthouse and Clipper House, a new building recycled from the Olympic Broadcasting Studios that will provide studio workspace for artists. The art and history tour includes sculptures by Andrew Baldwin and regeneration artwork by Anya Beaumont. Visitors will also be able to see – and hear – the Longplayer, a onethousand year musical composition which rings out without repetition from the lighthouse. There will also be an opportunity to explore some of the public art around Canary Wharf in tours which depart from the lobby of One playwright Mike Cullen’s controversial play first produced in 1997.
