THE LONDON BOROUGH OF TOWER HAMLETS ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ST. STEPHEN’S ROAD E3 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Council of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets made an Order, which will prohibit vehicular traffic from entering, stopping or proceeding in the length of carriageway in St. Stephens Road between its junction with Tredegar Road and its junction with Roman Road. The restriction on vehicular traffic will enable the essential removal of old rubber speed cushions and reinstating them with asphalt speed cushions to be carried out on the public highway by LBTH. The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Tredegar Road, Parnell Road, Old Ford Road and St. Stephens Road and vice versa The restriction on vehicular traffic will operate on Sunday 7th September 2014 and at times when temporary traffic signs are placed on the public highway pursuant to the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002. The restriction on vehicular traffic will enable essential electrical works to be carried out on the public highway by UK Power Networks. The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Three Colts Lane, Collingwood Street, Cudworth Street and Tapp Street and vice versa. Throughout the duration of the works, and at times when the “one way” and “no entry” traffic signs are covered, the existing one way working in Tapp Street between its junction with Three Colts Lane and its junction with Cudworth Street will be temporarily suspended.
