NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets on 11th November 2014 made the above-mentioned Orders under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 5 of the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004. 2. The general effect of the Orders would be to in: a) Ben Johnson Road - i) To introduce a Goods Loading Bay (approx. 17m) on the south side outside Dame Colet House. b) Manchester Road - i) Convert the existing Single Yellow Lines on the north side between the property No.149 and 167 (approx. 30m) to Double Yellow Lines. ii) Convert approx. 56m of existing Coach / Bus Bay outside George Green School to Shared-use bay with Cashless pay option. iii) Introduce a two-car-space Permit Bay opposite no.149 on the south side. iv) Change existing Permit Bay on the north side outside no.145/149 to a Loading Bay (20 minutes max stay). c) Cinnamon Street - i) Convert all Single Yellow Lines to Double Yellow Lines. d) Birchfield Street - i) Introduce Loading Restriction on the east side between its junction with East India Dock Road and the northern boundary with Pennyfields (operational Monday - Saturday 7am - 1pm) ii) Introduce Loading Restriction on the west side, from its junction with East India Dock Road to the northern kerb line of Amoy Pace (operational Monday - Saturday, 7am - 1pm) e) West India Dock Road - Introduce a Loading Restriction on the north side from its junction with East India Dock Road in a south easterly direction for a distance of approx. 100m (operational Monday - Friday, 7am - 10am and 4pm - 7pm) f) Pinchin Street - Covert the existing Single Yellow Lines on the north side, from the eastern kerb line of Forbes Street in an easterly direction for a distance of 73m g) Digby Street (opposite Godley VC house) - To introduce on existing Single Yellow Line a three parking space Permit and Pay & Display Bay; h) To introduce 'At Any Time' No Waiting & Loading Restrictions at the following junctions - i) Knottisford Street - North side corner with and including Butler Street. ii) Knottisford Street - South side corner with and including the west kerbside of Morpeth Street. iii) Knottisford Street - South side of the central reservation, east side of Morpeth Street. iv) Cyprus Street - South side corner with and including Bonner Street. i) To introduce Free Parking space/s to operate on Fridays between 12.30pm to 2.30pm on existing Single Yellow Line in - i) Bullards Place - one space, north side nearest Morpeth Street ii) Hartley Street - one and two spaces respectively, north side west of Bonner Street. iii) Globe Road - two spaces, west side opposite Kirkwall Place j) Royston Street (opposite no.5) - extend the Permit Bay by 5m in a westerly direction. k) Warley Street (Opposite Bullards Place) - To introduce on Single Yellow Line a two space Permit Bay. l) Hunslett Street - i) North corner with and including Hartley Street - To upgrade the Single Yellow Line to Double Yellow Lines. ii) (outside no.2) - To extend the existing Resident Bay northwards by one parking space. iii) (opposite no.4) - To substitute the Single Yellow Line with a Resident parking space. m) Hartley Street (north side) - i) To introduce on Single Yellow Line a two space Resident Bay. ii) To upgrade the Single Yellow Line to Double Yellow Lines at both cul de sacs. n) Globe Road - i) West side opposite no.300 -To extend northwards the Resident Bay by three parking spaces. ii) West side between Old Ford Road and Cyprus Street - To introduce a two space Permit Bay iii) West side opposite Cyprus Street - To upgrade the Single Yellow Line to Double Yellow Lines. o) Quilter Street - To reduce the Multi Bay and Sunday Market Trader to 10m and substitute with a two space Resident Bay. p) Alie Street (east of Mansell Street) - To introduce 'At Any Time' No Loading restrictions on the north side for a distance of 75m. 3. The Regulations, fees and usual exemptions imposed by the governing Traffic Management Orders would apply to the proposals referred to in paragraph 2 above. 4. A copy of each of the proposed Orders and all relevant documents can be inspected, by prior appointment, at the offices of the at the Parking Services Offices, 585-593 Commercial Road, London E10HJ (0207-364 6952), during normal office hours on Monday to Friday inclusive until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published. 5. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicular traffic from entering, stopping or proceeding in the length of carriageway in Caroline Street. The restriction on vehicular traffic will enable production and filming Vehicles Park on the public highway while the major concert and filming takes place in the TROXY. The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Commercial Road, Pitsea Street and Pitsea Place. Access will be provided for Police, Fire and Ambulance vehicles in an emergency or access may also be provided with the permission of a Police Officer in uniform.
