Dated: 17th February 2014 OWEN WHALLEY Head of Planning and Building Control Public notices PUBLIC NOTICE THE LONDON BOROUGH OF TOWER HAMLETS ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – PRINCELET STREET E1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Council of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets proposes to make an Order, which will prohibit vehicular traffic from entering, stopping or proceeding in the length of carriageway in Princelet Street from a point 10 metres to a point 60 metres in the westbound direction from its junction with Spelman Street. The restriction on vehicular traffic will enable essential crane works to be carried out on the public highway by Commhoist Limited. The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Spelman Street, Hanbury Street, Greatorex Street, Chicksand Street, Brick Lane and Princelet Street. Throughout the duration of the works, and at times when the “no entry” and “one way” traffic signs are covered, the existing one way working in Princelet Street between its junction with Spelman Street and its junction with Brick Lane will be temporarily suspended.
