And for anyone feeling brave enough, there were games at the captain’s table including the Unlucky Treasure Hunt. Tiny terrors and little monsters had a fangtastic time at the annual Teeny Halloweeny extravaganza, which took place at Mile End Park on October 29. The popular event attracted more than 700 residents at the children’s play park. Under-sevens had fun apple bobbing, went on a spooky treasure hunt and tried Halloween themed arts and crafts. Little ghosts and ghouls also had fun carving their own pumpkins, making lanterns and creating Halloween arts and crafts at the Hub Building in Victoria Park. The intrepid explorers were taken on a spine-tingling tour starting at Victoria Park leading on to Mile End Park where they did battle with ghosts and ghouls. Surprises lurking in the shadows, had teenagers screaming in a special fright night.
